Water baptism is a public declaration of your faith in Jesus Christ. It represents your identification with His death, burial, and resurrection, as described in Romans 6:4: "We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life."
Baptism is for anyone who has made a personal decision to follow Jesus. Whether you're new in your faith or have been walking with Christ for years, this is an opportunity to proclaim your faith publicly.
